Ad-hoc announcement pursuant to Article 17 Abs. 1 of the Market Abuse Regulation (Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014)
Ichor Coal N.V. announces the postponement of the publication of the company’s financial statements for the year ended 31 December 31 2016 (Annual Financial Statements 2016).
The postponement is due to the fact that the external audit could not be finalised by 30 June 2017 which is largely attributable to the recent receipt of an offer for the company’s interests in Vunene Mining (Pty) Ltd and Penumbra Coal Mining (Pty) Ltd (please refer to this announcement). The company believes that the offer qualifies as an “Event after the Reporting Period” pursuant to IAS 10 and accordingly, needs to be taken into consideration in the finalisation of the audit.
The Annual Financial Statements 2016 will be released as soon as possible once the effect of the offer has been fully analysed and taken into consideration and the independent auditors’ report has been released.
